IMMANUEL
He came for us and our salvation in the fullness of time. (But often the fullness of time feels like NOW)
The Lord teaches us in the waiting; today we celebrate the rare moments of clarity on this side of eternity.
Let us celebrate that God comes to us in surprising, gentle, ordinary yet miraculous, mysterious ways-demanding much and covering us in grace. Let us rejoice that He is with us in the beauty and pain.
Let those who mourn on this holiday know that Our lord says that those who are mourned are blessed because they will be comforted
Sometimes tears on Christmas mean healing is happening, for especially in these times: “Immanuel” (God with us)
